Above: just some of August's volunteers - the cooks (the front-of-house team out of camera shot) and some of the 40 who sat down to eat the delicious 2 course menu: quiche lorraine, ham, salad, coleslaw, new potato salad. A choice of puddings including apple crumble, trifle, plum and walnut tart, chocolate orange fudge cake, all served with ice cream. The food is always freshly cooked and delicious. There is coffee and tea on arrival, with apple and orange juice with the meal.
